The Union Tavern

Enter the Union Tavern and enjoy fresh flowers, wooden floors and fantastic wholesome food from this Gastropub's weekly menus, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Rojo y Negro has always been local to the historic Clerkenwell area near lively Angel, Exmouth Market and Russell Square.

The Union Tavern has been our home in this area for nearly four years.

The Union Tavern is a great place for classes with its original wooden floor, and comfortable atmosphere. It has become many a student's favourite—a place where friends meet to eat, drink and catch up prior to classes and dancing.

There is a well-stocked bar with over 80 wines, and nearly a dozen types of beer and, being a gastropub, great food is always available from a regularly changing menu.

The Union Tavern is also the venue hosting our full range of Tango shoes, on display every class evening (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings currently). Visit us and browse the selection on any of these evenings.

It is difficult to miss this imposing Victorian pub, at the corner of Kings Cross Road and Lloyd Baker Street, opposite the area's two major landmarks—the Royal Mail sorting office and the Holiday Inn tower.
